Come and join us for a three - day tour in God’s Own County exploring the area made world famous by the books of James Herriot and the TV series “All Creatures Great and Small”
We will be based in the bustling market town of Thirsk (inspiration for Darrowby), staying at the Golden Fleece on the Market Place and will travel “uphill and down dale”, following in the trail of the beloved Yorkshire vet visiting all the key locations from the TV series and film as well as showing you what Alf Wight (the real James Herriot) described as “England’s best view”.
Yorkshire Heritage Railways Tour
.Our Yorkshire Railways tour will be based in York, a city full of railway history and heritage. There will be a walking tour taking in the railway heritage and a visit to the Railway Museum and we will have afternoon tea on the Countess of York! We will take excursions to enjoy trips on the North York Moors Railway and The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
